Conducting Independent Review of Environment and Social Assessment |
MAIN TASKS OF THE CONSULTANCY SERVICES |

To review the Environment Assessment and Social Assessment process and the various outputs from the consultants in order to confirm that the World Bank Operational Policies have been complied with. |

To review and evaluate the outputs from the feasibility consultants on the Environment Assessment and Social Assessment process/ preparation and planning/ setting-up of the EMP and RAP by the design consultants on operationalizing it. |
|
To confirm that Environment Assessment and Social Assessment process is closely integrated with the Project's economic, financial, institutional and technical analyses and to ensure that environment an social considerations are internalized and adequately weaved into the design and engineering decisions. |
|
To advise PRBDB on Environment Assessment and Social Assessment quality enchancement, environmental capacity building and training of staff. |
