The Management Information System has been conceived in line with the development of a Computerised system in PRBDB/ PWD (B&R). The objective of the system is to improve efficiency of the operations and management of the various functions of the department and also to help in decision-making process.

The MIS gives PWD/PRBDB instant access and on a continuous basis to a large amount of high-level information which includes: Work condition, Work Progress, Utilization of Fund etc related to the Bridges, State Highway, District Road, Village Road Forming the Road Network.
